BATCS Certifications

 BATCS Certification in Clear English Speech is designed to help you in two ways. The first is in your career. Having a BATCS Certification will help you get recruited on LinkedIn; to be placed on the shortlist for interviews; and to get hired. 

The second is in your accent reduction and language learning. Moving up the BATCS Certifications structure will focus and accelerate your learning. 

We have four levels of BATCS Certification in Clear English Speech: Entry Level, Intermediate Level, Advanced Level and Proficiency Level.

Entry Level Certification means that you can speak English with a moderate accent, not a heavy accent. When you achieve Entry Level Certification, you can begin most jobs, or get off to a successful start with college or professional education. 

 Intermediate Level Certification means that you can speak English with a light accent. With Intermediate Level Certification, you have the skills you need to succeed in jobs up to middle management, or at college or in professional education. 

 Advanced Level Certification means that you have a very light accent. With Advanced Level Certification, you speak as clearly and fluently as an educated native speaker. You will be able to achieve at a high level of your career or education. 

Proficiency Level Certification means that you have a neutral accent. With Proficiency Level Certification, you speak clearly, fluently and persuasively. You will be able to achieve at the highest level of your career or education.  

How to Get Certified

It’s easy to get certified. Just follow these steps:

  1. Arrange for a Speech Analysis with BATCS. We’ll tell you what certification you are ready to prepare for, what books and apps you need to use to prepare, and how many lessons you might need.

  2. Study! Use our books and apps in the way that we tell you. 

  3. Arrange for a Certification Test with BATCS. Simply email us to set up your test. 

Once you are certified, you will receive a certificate and cover letter from BATCS. Your employer or school can contact us to verify your certification level at any time.
